The San Pedro Library has the first book bike in Southern California. Children's Librarian Ednita had a vision of distributing free books in the community on a bike, applied for a grant and was awarded the funding for the bike. She goes to schools and Farmer's Market on her bike and she always wears her helmet while riding. All the books are donated and she even has a few adult books to give out. The books are secured when she rides. Thank you Ednita!
